Describing Tin Huey, Robert Christgau of the Village Voice wrote that the Hueys played "Art Rock for Laughs" and "...are in search of the eternal secrets of the whoopee cushion." The Akron, Ohio group's 'disinformation,' was produced by Michael Aylward and Engineer John Mondl, along with Rob Sabino (Chic and David Bowie's "Let's Dance" album) and Chris Butler, member of Tin Huey and the creator of 'The Waitresses'
(I Know What Boys Like). Their sax/multi-instrumentalist is Ralph Carney (Tom Waits, B-52s)

Half Cleveland was formed in 2003 by Hueys Harvey Gold and Chris Butler, along with 'Bongo' Bob Ethington. and Deborah Smith (Chi-Pig). They recently played at The Akron Civic Theater with Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders.
'Half Cleveland Live at the Wi-Fi' is a semi-plugged cafe set performed at Cuyahoga Community College, recorded and mixed by students in the Media program there.
